Every year, European universities and governments spend millions of euros to bring in high potential international students for SCHOLARSHIPS.
Each country in Europe has its fee policy, but in general, it’s lower than in other leading study institutions like in Canada, USA, or Australia. In fact, in some European countries, study programs are free of charge.
Many students work part-time whilst they study or during their university holidays to help support themselves financially.
1. BELGIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP
the Belgian government ARES scholarship offers the chance to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree program or a 2-to-6-month continuing education course within a higher education institution of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Belgium. One hundred thirty Bachelor’s and Masters scholarships and seventy continuing education scholarships are available.

2.BERLIN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The scholarships support young talented international students who have been socially committed in volunteer work in their home countries. The scholarship is reserved for students from Eastern Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa.

3. DAAD MASTER STUDIES FOR ALL ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES
This scholarship program offers you the opportunity to continue your academic education in Germany with a postgraduate course of study. Excellently qualified graduates who have completed a first degree (e.g. Bachelor, Diploma) can apply.

4. AMSTERDAM MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Students who hold a non-EU/EEA passport and have applied for a degree program at the University of Amsterdam may submit an application for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship. Deadlines for the AMS differ per Faculty or Graduate School.

5. HUNGARY SCHOLARSHIP FOR CHRISTIAN YOUNG PEOPLE
Hungary provides high quality education in the heart of Europe. The core mission of the Scholarship Program for Christian Young People is to provide the possibility of studying in Hungary for young Christian students living in the crisis regions of the world and/or being threatened in their country because of their faith.

6. UNIVERSITY OF GENEVA MASTER SCHOLARSHIP
The University of Geneva Excellence Scholarship consists of a grant amounting to CHF 10’000 to CHF 15’000/year (no teaching duties). it is awarded for one year and extended for the regular duration of the chosen Master’s program (three or four semesters) provided the applicant is academically successful at the end of his/her first semester of studies.

7. GATES CAMBRIDGE SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year, Gates Cambridge offers 80 full-cost scholarships to outstanding international applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge. Approximately two-thirds of these awards will be offered to PhD students.

8. BOUSTANY MBA CAMBRIDGE SCHOLARSHIP

9. UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX CHANCELLORS INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
There are 25 scholarships, awarded as a 50% tuition fee reduction, available to international postgraduate applicants who can demonstrate academic excellence. To be considered for the Chancellors International Scholarship, you need to have received and accepted an offer of a place on an eligible Masters at Sussex.

10. SWEDISH INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIPS
The Swedish Institute Scholarship is funded by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. It offers a unique opportunity to develop both professionally and academically, experience Swedish society and culture, and build a long-lasting relationship with Sweden and other scholarship holders. It offers a full tuition fee coverage, a monthly payment of SEK 10,000, travel cost and much more.

11. GOVERNMENT OF HUNGARY SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship program is managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and co-ordinated
by Tempus Public Foundation. It offers both full-degree and partial study opportunities in the three cycle
degree structure. The scholarship covers tuition fee, a monthly stipend, accommodation contribution, medical insurance—health.

12. HOLLAND SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

13. GHENT UNIVERSITY DOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year, about 50 PhD grants to predoctoral researchers, aimed at obtaining a doctoral degree within a time span of 4 years. The scholarship is approximately €2.225 per month, depending on the family status of the scholar. A bench fee of €310/month will be awarded to the promoter.

14. MAASTRICHT UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
The Maastricht University (UM) Holland-High Potential Scholarship program offers 24 full scholarships of €29,000 (including tuition fee waiver and monthly stipend) each academic year for students from outside the European Union (EU).

15. UNIVERSITY TWENTE SCHOLARSHIP
The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a program for excellent students from both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA countries. The students receive between €3,000 and €22,000 for one year. Approximately 50 scholarships are available.

16. BRISTOL UNIVERSITY THINK BIG SCHOLARSHIPS

17. WARWICK CHANCELLOR’S INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
For 2022/2023 entry, there will be up to 42 Chancellor’s International Scholarships available to be awarded to the most outstanding International and EU PhD applicants. The program covers the full tuition fees, a maintenance stipend of £15,609 and much more. The duration of funding is 3 years and a half.

19. DANISH STATE SCHOLARSHIPS AT AARHAUS UNIVERSITY
Aarhus University offers a limited number of Danish state scholarships for non-EU students. Our scholarships are financed by the Danish state. The scholarship is a combination of a full or partly tuition waiver and a monthly stipend towards living expenses.

20. RADBOUD SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
For 2022/2023, a maximum of 37 Radboud Scholarships are available. The scholarship covers partially the tuition fees, and fully covers the costs for visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance for your stay in the Netherlands.

21. EPFL EXCELLENCE FELLOWSHIPS
EPFL offers a limited number of fellowships at master’s level to students with outstanding academic records. Anyone applying to an EPFL master’s program is eligible. The amount of the scholarship is CHF 10’000 per semester, plus, a student room in a student residence and a certificate of excellence (at the end of the master’s program). The fellowship will be paid for 4 semesters maximum.

22. ROSA LUXEMBURG SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The Scholarship awards financial grants to highly qualified undergraduate and doctoral students from Germany and abroad who evidence high levels of social and political engagement. The scholarship is in the form of a living grant. Tuition fees are not covered.

23. UNIVERSITY OF HELSINKI SCHOLARSHIPS
University of Helsinki Scholarships are intended for excellent international students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland who want to complete a Master’s program. The scholarship is on the form of 100% waivers and also include, student Union membership, highly affordable health care services by the Finnish Student Health Service, student meal discounts in Unicafe restaurants, reductions in public transport, and services at low prices.

24. UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA SCHOLARSHIPS
In order to encourage international students to enroll in its degree programs, the University of Bologna will fund 15 scholarships worth € 11.059 each (Unibo Action 2) and several more full exemptions from tuition fees for a total amount of € 80,000 (Unibo Action 1).

ampere University Scholarships Program is intended for students who are required to pay tuition fees in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs offered in English. Tampere University tuition fee scholarships cover 100% of the tuition fees for the program duration. Recipient will also get a 7,000 euros for his first year.

29. BI PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Awarded to students with superior academic records, this scholarship is open to Norwegian and international applicants admitted to an M.Sc. program at campus Oslo or campus Bergen.
Scholarships will cover the full tuition fees and a stipend for each semester, for up to two years, if the student achieves the academic progression requirements. The stipend is to assist with living expenses but does cover all expenses (ca. 70%).

The BSE offers funding to attract and retain the most talented students. The most talented candidates will receive a financial offer.
